By accessing and using Vital Health NZ's telehealth services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

By accessing or using our website, joining our waitlist, or interacting with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

Service Description

Vital Health NZ provides telehealth medical consultations for medical weight management and metabolic health assessment. Our services are delivered by qualified, MCNZ-registered doctors through secure video consultations.

Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be located in New Zealand during consultations
• Have a valid email address
• Have access to appropriate technology for video consultations
• Provide accurate and complete health information

Medical Disclaimer

Service Limitations: Vital Health is a telehealth-only service. We do not offer face-to-face consultations or in-person appointments. Our services are designed for routine healthcare consultations and ongoing health management.

While our doctors are qualified and experienced, telehealth may not be appropriate for all medical conditions. If a physical examination or hands-on assessment is required, you will be advised to see another medical provider who can provide in-person care.

Specialist Services: We provide specialist lifestyle medicine services focused on medical weight management . Your regular GP remains responsible for your ongoing general healthcare needs and primary care coordination.

Appointment Cancellation Policy

We require 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee. We understand that emergencies happen and will work with you on a case-by-case basis.

Payment Terms

Payment is required at the time of booking or before your consultation. We accept major credit cards and online payment methods. All fees are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

We offer the following refund and cancellation terms:

• Cancellation 24+ hours before appointment: Full refund
• Cancellation less than 24 hours before appointment: 50% refund
• No-show appointments: No refund
• Technical issues on our end: Full refund or rescheduling
• Medical issue preventing attendance: Full refund with documentation

Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete health information
• Participate actively in your consultations
• Follow prescribed treatment plans and recommendations
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Use our services only for their intended purpose
• Not attempt to access other users' information

Limitation of Liability

Vital Health NZ's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Vital Health NZ and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using our services, you consent to our privacy practices.
